SOFI

(2021)

Description

This was our exam project at the School of Fashion Industry in 2021. The objective was to design and create at least three pieces of clothing and organize a photoshoot featuring our creations. For our project, we chose to focus on sustainability by reusing broken and damaged items that were destined to be discarded. We reached out to various sports clubs across Oslo, asking if they had items they planned to throw away that we could repurpose for our collection. The materials we worked with included damaged jerseys, deflated handballs, artificial grass, and worn-out volleyballs. Through this approach, we aimed to highlight the potential of turning waste into something both creative and meaningful.
